I like petunias and geraniums, roses and herbs that bloom, early flowering plants like crocus, tulips, and lilacs, peonies, mock orange, small flowers and big trees. In other words, I am a flower lover who wants to learn even more than I already know, and I feel I have learned a lot over 66 years, most of that from my mother when she lived. My sister has taught me a lot since she is a Master Gardener and I have contacted her quite frequently to find answers to questions that I have. I will always be open to new and exciting things to do with flowers and gardens. I feel nearer to God when I am working in a garden or am getting kid dirty. I also like to see the results of my work. It makes me feel like I have mastered some new thing. I also like to have flowers and greenery in my home in the winter months to help to keep the air clean and beautiful.
