Karen In Wichita's Square Foot garden

Years back, I picked up the Square Foot Gardening book at a used bookstore, and proceeded to get involved with an overambitious (and row-type) community garden. Too big, too far away, and too undermaintained as soon as the weather got hot.

After a few years of going to the farmer’s market, and feeling guilty buying zucchini (“I could have grown this myself!”), I finally bit the bullet and put in three squares this year. Wish me luck…
