Redloon's Front Apartment garden
This used to be a weed patch. (Admittedly, a large part of it is still a weed patch.) I started modestly on May 24th, planting some violets and tiny Calendula recruits that I picked up for free at the BNAN Spring Perennial Divide Festival. On May 30th, I got serious. I pulled up some weeds, pulled out my pitchfork, removed plants & roots & rocks, worked in some compost and a bag of potting soil, inserted the plants, and covered the enriched soil with mulch (which will hopefully prevent it from becoming a weed patch again in the near future). Now the waiting (and watering) begins!
