Elledee's New Lawn garden

Every year, I try to add a patch of lawn to my yard, moving from left to right. This year, on June 4/08, I started the patch to right of Swing Garden 2. We put 12 yards of screened topsoil, rolled and raked it out. I then spread about 2 c. white clover seed, 1/2 kg of PC quick germinating lawn seed, 1 kg. Greenfast Sun and Shade Mix, and .8 kg Scott’s Seed Starter Lawn Fertilizer 20-27-5. Then lightly raked that. Hopefully with the 2-3 days of light rain predicted, it should sprout soon. In a few weeks, I will put another 12 yards of topsoil and seed with the above mixture. That should be a good patch for this year.
