Turtleluna's Community garden
I have a plot in an urban community garden. Its terraced and quite lovely to look at, with maybe 12-15 families gardening in it. I’ve been in there for a few years, and its just across from my apartment, which is wonderfully convenient!

I’m quite jealous of your community garden plot! Do you get to keep the same plot over the fall & winter?
Community gardens are very scarce here, and they have long waiting lists.

Yes, but you have to renew each spring or you can lose it. We’re very lucky to have a thriving urban community garden org and there are a LOT of gardens in the area as a result.
