    I pulled two mystery seedlings out of my compost bin the other day- I kind of wanted to leave them there to see what would happen, but my compost bin has a lid that needs to be closed to keep pests out of the kitchen scraps, and I found I was leaving the lid open to let the adventurous little sprouts get some sun. I’ve pulled them both out gently & planted them elsewhere in the vague hope of providing a good life for such industrious, determined little plants.

    I would love to hear about it if you ever wind up harvesting from these accidental plants!
