Cgl's White Wasteland garden
Formerly an area covered with small white rocks that grew only weeds, it became the White Wasteland as a joke. The rocks were too heavy to move, so I simply planted over them. They became pathways between the plantings. Three years later, they are barely visible and create a xerescape planting that is completely drought proof…. the rocks being deep enough to act as mulch. Anything is possible with a garden, your only limits are your imagination.
