Lisapizza's Vegetable garden

This is the second year that I have planted vegetables. I do most of the planting, weeding, etc. but my husband is a great helper when it comes to digging out grass to make new gardening beds, hauling stones to border them, and spreading out the wood chips. Thanks, Tony!

Last year I had great success with tomatoes, so I thought I would try some other edibles this year! We also have rhubarb that comes up every year like clockwork. I’m very pleased with that!

I planted all of our vegetables this year from seedlings from Pesche’s Flowers in Des Plaines, Illinois. I don’t know many of the details because I wasn’t keeping track, so I’m going to fudge on the planting dates and such, but next year, I’ll be prepared! :)
