Vera Eastern Wa's My Strip Garden garden

Created on Thursday, 17 Jul 08

This bed was started in fall of 2003 and filled up with wintersown seedlings the following spring. Every plant that currently grows in here started from wintersowing with the exception of the Daylily, Iris, Sedums and the Monarda ‘Garden View Scarlet’ rooted runners rec’d from a gardenweb friend.
The bed has been expanded 2 times since then with the latest expansion going in this spring to accommidate a bunch of wintersown annuals and 2 Lupine.

My perennials include:
Lavender ‘Munstead’
Penstemon ’Husker’s Red’
Feverfew ‘Flore Pleno’
Saponaria ‘Flore Pleno’
Agastache foeniculum
Hyssopus officinalis
Yarrow (white)
Knautia macedonica
Eupatorium purpureum
Gaillardia aristata ‘Burgundy’
Gaillardia aristata (common Blanket Flower)
Garlic Chives
Aster laevis
Shasta Daisy
Stachys byzantina (added this year)
Asclepias syriaca
