Jodee's Berm garden

Ok- I didn’t do much with this one. This was a Berm that was professionaly installed in early Spring of 2007…right before a very late hard freeze and then a summer of drought. The photo looking out from the screened in porch is the view when I first moved in- before adding the berm and, later, the fence.

As you can see from the one photo, I lost a couple aborvites to the inclement weather. One of the benefits of having a landscape company plant your trees is they come with a warranty. They came out this spring (2008) and replaced 2 of the Arbs’s.

The pink knockout roses are amazing. This is just second year growth on them. They were 1 gallon pots when planted. A mild winter prevented my from hardly having to cut back dead wood at all. They bloom non-stop all summer. I never had roses before, but I love these!
