Sassafrass's Late start garden

Today (Aug 12), I planted some pea and carrot seeds. I read in a blog the other day that this is a good time to throw in some peas and other veggies (I can’t remember what, though) for a fall harvest. I don’t know that we’ll actually harvest before frost, but I had the seed sitting around. I like the experiment. I also didn’t research; I hope that peas and carrots grow well together.
