Kristiecav's New Backyard Garden garden
Our big backyard…yes that is washing on the line!! Our backyard is huge! Too much grass so i am splitting the yard in half with a new big garden bed. Raised & no-dig. Our soil is sandy clay that takes too much effort to improve, it will over time as the nutrients from the raised beds leach down. The back of the yard will be dedicated to chooks, melons, pumpkins, veg & fruit trees. The new bed separates & once the fruit trees & shrubs grow you will not be able to see the craziness up the back!! The washing line was right off our back steps, that has now moved to the top corner of the yard…so much work to do, so little $$$$$. that’s why i am a freebie seeker….i have no choice!!!!
The front of the yard will be the kids domain & for entertainment..but it will have to wait…i am working from the rear down!!!
