Bugbears's Frontyard garden

Created on Saturday, 06 Sep 08

7 September 2008

Our upstairs neighbor, Angela, started us out by clearing the front yard of all the dead leaves and weeds that had accumulated prior to our move-in in Feb., 2008. She planted some marigolds and zinnias.

About a month ago, Danny amended the soil with a mixture of Sloat Planting Mix and forest mulch and we trimmed the marigolds by harvesting the withered flower heads (full of seed). The plants responded well, blooming brightly these last couple of weeks.
