Jacquiebeans's Frontyard garden
In my old house, I had a perennial flower garden to the side, against the house.
There was also a long narrow garden against the front of the house that filled the space between the walkway and the front door. It had daffodils, tulips, crocuses. Then I would fill it with annuals when the bulbs died back. I also had a small patch of shade garden down back with violets, lungwort, forget-me-not, and soloman’s wisdom. Oh! And there was a two-tier rock garden out back on a slope with a few kinds of geraniums, and a small round patch out front with m&f holly bushes, a big hosta, and an emerald ivy. It also had spurge, but I tried my best to kill that. I call it scourge.
