after too long of a hiatus... I am BACK!

I am finally ok to work in my garden again!!!!! Hip hip hooray!

The garden is HUGE. We have been calling it the jungle. My parents came by to water over the weekend because we were out of town and my mom called me specifically to tell me she was jealous because my plants are twice the size of hers. My Juliet maters are so big we have been calling it the tomato tree. The upside down planter is doing well also. I have to get updated pics of that, because the tomato vines are getting very bushy and long. Everything has fruit. The tomato plants are filled with green maters, I have a ton of bell peppers coming in, and we have so many banana peppers, we have already started harvesting those, and my they are tasty. We had to transplant the potted tomato plants because they got a little too big for their britches, but they are doing just fine. We are going to have soooo many tomatoes. We plan on canning them. We are hoping to make a good pasta sauce to can with a lot of stuff that came from our garden. I plan on experimenting with mini batches of sauce soon.
We have:

Tomatoes
Bell peppers
Banana peppers
Onions (from my mom’s garden)
Chives
Oregano
Basil, and
Rosemary

Plus a little bit of garlic too. We are also going to make some salsa with the jalapenos. If anyone has a good pasta sauce recipe that uses those ingredients for canning, please, let me know.
