the latest on the upside down maters
latest pics of the upside mater garden. I removed some of the flowers from the top to create more room for mater roots, but this thing has gotten quite large.

Wow, that’s a huge & healthy looking tomato planter! What’s that you’ve got planted in the top?

I love your upside down tomato garden. Did you buy the whole thing as a set?

Yes! from Hammacher Schlemmer actually: http://www.hammacher.com/publish/67403.asp I painted mine, I should have roughed up the plastic a little more before I primed it because its starting to chip.
It was a little more than i wanted to spend, but I decided to chance it because it came with a 100% lifetime warranty (they even mailed me a return shipping label in case I wanted to return it.)
It was worth every penny. :)
My brother has made his own upside down mater garden out of 5 gallon jugs. I wanted to do that, but being in a townhome I have no place to hang them due to restrictions. I’m pretty sure he just looked up online how to do it. :)
