Holy stinger, Batman!
Went outside to the garden with a cup of hot ocha… and encountered a Greater Banded hornet (Vespa tropica) flying around the florescent light. Eep. They are awake at night?! I immediately went indoors.
Well, on a more positive note, hornets can be considered beneficial insects, though one in my vicinity creeps me out immediately…
