I just found this and am hoping that it can replace a paper journal.

Today I pulled up my first zucchini and yellow squash plants. They were infested with a bad worm! I got one really nice zucchini before the pestilence set in. I have two younger zucchini plants well-established and one yellow squash.

Today I transplanted 3 heirloom tomatoes and 3 hybrid tomatoes, sowed new marigold and nasturtium seeds, and moved the Meyer lemon.

I harvested another cucumber. The plants are loaded with little ones; it would be great to be able to pick enough at one time to make some pickles.

Buds on the front container-planted lime are almost open. Happy news. The aggresive pruning a few weeks ago seemed to have done the trick. I pruned the backyard lime today hoping for similar results.

I also cut some lower growth off the Meyer lemon when it was moved and hopefully have given the roots a little breathing room. I think it was planted too deeply before.
