Now kids, don't make me separate you!
I separated all of my tomatoes yesterday. Now each plant has it’s own pot. I’m sure there is a name for what I did, but since I’m a new gardener I have no idea what it is. So, I will just say I transferred them all into their own repective pots (or 16 oz paper cups). I’m hoping the smaller ones will really start to take now that they don’t have to share the soil. I did a plant count too. I have about 30. Crap. I have a small little patio to put them on along with 7 jalapeno plants and a ton of other plants. I am putting 8 in my upside down garden and a few more in pots. I am going to do my own little experiment as to which yields better maters. I have about 15 I have to give away. Yikes! We can’t put anything in the ground at the townhome, so everything has to be in pots. We are going to have one crowded patio.
