On this wet, windy and wild weather night, I decided to bite the bullet and shuffle and organize all the garden photos I have taken so far this year…and there are a LOT!! I’ve never taken so many photos, mostly because I haven’t had so much to photograph! I’ve been very lu...This entry is about Hstupno's adventures in gardening.

Day 36
Fruiting: Not sure this is a cherry.
I see tomatoes on the plant, but they are getting bigger than expected. Wonder what kind of tomato this will turn out to be. The leaves are getting a little wierd, but I will keep an eye on that. This entry is about Kirchren's Upside Down Tomato Volunteer in the Vegetables 2008 garden.

Day 27
Flowering: First Flowers
Seeing the first flowers on these. They sprouted up like weeds when I was in FL. They must have liked the fish water I gave them before I left. This entry is about Kirchren's GhostBuster Eggplants in the Vegetables 2008 garden.

Day 53
Wound the stalks around the poles
The bushes are coming up great. Some are already winding around the poles, but other were still searching. I helped out several stalks yesterday, by winding them around the pole. This entry is about Lancefisher's Green Beans in the Veggie Garden garden.

Fruiting: Fruit
Yay! I love the blackberries! There’s always SO MANY of them! Ron and I were pricing them out in the grocery store and decided we’re sitting on a gold mine. This entry is about Renemarie's Himalayan blackberry in the Gail's half acre garden.

Day 52
Yesterday in the garden I noticed that about half of the garlic plants were trampled. It is also possible the storm knocked them over. This entry is about Lancefisher's Garlic in the Veggie Garden garden.

Day 82
Fruiting: Little green berries
LOTS of little green berries. There should be enough for jam, cobblers, pies, freezing…. I guessing about 3 weeks. This entry is about Renemarie's Triple Crown Blackberry in the Gail's half acre garden.

Day 52
Harvesting: Too Woody
Harvested all the radishes yesterday, and they were way too woody – stringy and hard to chew. They were flowering so I think I left them in the ground too long. Many of the radishes were still small, however. Do they shrink after they flower? Should I harvest before they flower? This entry is about Lancefisher's Radishes in the Veggie Garden garden.

Day 61
Fruiting: We have fruit!
Counted 4 tomatoes on one plant and 1 on another. I have five big healthy looking plants with nothing to show so far. This entry is about Renemarie's Tomato in the Gail's half acre garden.

Day 52
Transplanted: Down to 2 rows
The corn was so sparse, I transplanted them into two rows. Now I have two empty rows that I’m thinking of planting onions in.This entry is about Renemarie's Corn in the Gail's half acre garden.
