Coriander doing ok
This has done better than the rocket, may be slugs and snails aren’t all that fond of coriander. I just need to plant more at one go to make it viable because a few shoots are never enough. The first ones sown are almost ready to use and there are now a few more on their way.

Coriander green surface to the compost - is this bad?
I planted these in bog standard potting compost from the garden centre and had intended to keep them in the same pot throughout. Now and for the last few days, there has been a green surface to the compost – thicker than the ordinary compost, like a crust, and generally a bit revolting looking. I’m thinking this is some kind of algae? Is it the type of compost I’ve used? Does it matter? Should I re-pot the seedlings straightaway? They haven’t been kept too damp I don’t think. All advice welcome.
