It looks like it is coming back.

I cut all the dry leaves off hoping that it would regenerate from the root, but I’ve seen no sign of life.

I meant just to trim the brown fronds off but I noticed the green ones were totally dry. It’s hard to keep this one well-watered because it’s such a small pot. Anyway, I cut it down to the grown. I flushed it with filtered water so that any salt buildup would go out. I’m given to understand that ferns store energy in the roots even after the fronds have gone dead so I hope it comes back.
