Tomato - Tommy Toe Tomato info note
Just some tomato info I do not want to lose.
The best way to save seeds is to first of all to squeeze the seeds from three or four tomatoes into a small container. A small amount of water can be added. Set it aside for about four days, and let the mixture ferment. It may smell, but leave it until it has developed a skin of mould on the top. Then pour the mixture into a sieve and place it under the tap. Wash them under running water, rubbing them with your hands until all of the seeds are washed clean. Spread them out on a paper towel to dry.
