glittertrash Glittertrash's Silverbeet 'Vulcan Red'
Beta vulgaris var. cicla

I haven’t for the life of me been able to find packets of “Bright Lights” silverbeet seed at any of my usual retailers, so this planting is an attempted half-way effort of Vulcan Red, Canary Yellow & Fordhook Giant in the one container.

I kind of like being able to choose the locations for individual colours- gives me Big Ideas for decorative edible foliage beds in future- but still I pine for pretty Bright Lights.

Pining after silverbeet. It’s probably wierd to love such an unglamorous vegetable this much, but I do.
