snap peas Gave Up
These guys were mostly dead. A few of them looked healthy, but they were on the end of the fence where garlic needs to go. We pulled them today. I brushed off the fences and put them on the back porch. I have concluded that fall peas are a no-go. All told, I got about 20 peas from 3 feet of fence.

snap peas Tall enough to climb
The snap peas are tall enough to climb the fence. Of course, they don’t all want to climb the fence. Some of them think it’s a good idea to climb beets. I untangled them and tried to encourage them towards their fence.

snap peas Sown: New Peas
I planted another batch of sugar snap peas today. I’m not sure if they’ll grow in this heat, but I have as much time left in the growing season as my spring peas took to do their thing.
I got them a metal fence piece to use as a trellis since the bamboo one I made for the last batch of peas didn’t hold up vey well.
