Carrots Sprouting: Pathetic show

Overcast 19°C / 66°F Very Unhappy

After sowing 3 five foot rows of these, only about 7 have actually sprouted – pathetic!
Now, do i give up on these and pull the ones there or let them grow?
Next year im going to try some in a raised bed using some old floorboards iv managed to get my hands on.Im going to grow decent carrots if it kills me..
