I have 2 Hydrangeas with one in pink bloom. The next one will bloom in blue as I have adjusted the Ph in the soil level. This is a fascinating plant in that you can actually control what color the blooms are. Sure, you only have the choice between 2, maybe 3 colors (if you can get the purple) but the fact remains that by adjusting the Ph levels yourself you can control if it’s blue or pink. I hope to broaden my collection of this shrub because the blooms are just beautiful and they last for a very long time. I have used them in a cut arrangement for my mom and one with some bells of ireland I kept on my stove.
