Lawmama's Black Beauty Zucchini
Cucurbita pepo L. var. cylindrica Paris
This was a solid, well-performing zucchini plant. Not as prolific as I would have hoped (amazingly for a zucchini plant). But I think it may have had to do with the fact that I would get distracted and neglect to harvest the zucchini when they reached a reasonable size. I would end up with baseball-bat sized (not kidding) zucchini about once a week. Needless to say, we had a lot of zucchini bread, and zucchini fritters… :P
