Murray's Beans
Phaseolus vulgaris

These are a heritage variety bean that a neighbour gave me to try. They are very long keepers! The seeds I planted this year were around 7 years old and virtually all of them germinated. The beans on the vine are red and yellow when mature but they loose that colour to green when cooked.
