Judy Judy's Snake Bean x 24
Vigna unguiculata sesquipedalis

A crucial ingredient for Green Curry Chicken, that is also a delightful snack, whole and raw. I normally buy two bunches of snake beans from the Rapid Creek Markets each week. It apparently can grow anytime here in Darwin. So it was the obvious first choice of vegetable for my new garden.

Like many of my plants, they were planted in these self-watering boxes that I made based on these Earthboxes available in the US. I planted two rows of six in each of two boxes, ie. 24 plants in total.

Once the plants started reaching for support, I moved them to an a-frame my family helped me construct out of old pool fencing.
