I love dahlias. Why do I have dahlias in my kitchen garden, you ask? Mostly because I like to have flowers in the garden, but also because I ran out of space in the places where my dahlias were supposed to be planted.

Ruskin Marigold is my new favorite dahlia. They flowers have an amazing glow to them. I first spotted this variety at a dahlia show in Southern California, and had to have it. There are two more planted in the dahlia bed.
