Dying Down: Chopped it
The hosta had a hard early summer… it was VERY hot here. It did manage to flower out in July, but I wouldn’t call it pretty this year. The leaves were already browning up. I notice today that not only are two of my Hostas in bloom but another plant has 3 spikes coming up!Now only 2 more plants to go.

I’m just about ready to move the hosta plant. I had been given this plant by a friend, and because when I got it it was in sad shape because it had sat in my car all day, I thought I should give it a chance in a container garden first.
