Mmmmm, dill. According to Internet research, dill should be planted in the fall down here in Zone 9, to give it a nice cool winter before it bolts and croaks in the heat of summer. Dying: Dill is Kaput
My juvenile dill fell over pretty much overnight 2 days ago. Thought it was maybe too dry so gave it a good water. No dice. Looked at it closely today – massive aphid infestation. Sigh. In my garden this morning, what do I spy but a newly emerged swallowtail butterfly.
