Day 241
I think I sowed these too soon as the weather was cold. The area they were planted in also wasn’t the best soil, so although had a harvest, it was small and not very successful. Next year I will try and hold out from sowing until a bit later. This entry is about Marj Joly's Pea 'Avola' 1st sowing in the Allotment garden.

Fruiting: Lean on me
So only about 5 of these came up out of the ones I planted. So with that and beginning of semester craziness I never quite got the motivation to put the trellis up for these. Hubby and I went out to the garden early this morning and noticed that, despite all odds, the 5 survivors were doing real...This entry is about Matangie's Fall Peas in the Little Garden on the Prairie garden.
