Tomato 'Coração' Seeds
Solanum lycopersicum

This is saved seed from last year’s (2007) and the previous year’s (2006) tomatoes.

This variety has been saved for many years, perhaps 20 or more, by my father-in-law. He originally got the seed from a Ukrainian neighbour.

The fruit is heart shaped which is why it is now called Coração by my Portuguese-speaking father-in-law. The fruit is very large and meaty.

I am experimenting with bought “Bull Heart” seeds to see if they are of the same variety.
