Hungarian heirloom brought to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin in 1929 by the Joe Hussli family. Florence Hussli recommends adding sliced raw rings to a cheese and bologna sandwich or using for stuffed peppers. Crunchy fruits are mildly hot when seeded. Excellent flavor, ripens from lime-green to red. Great for making fresh batches of salsa.
